Adelaide International Raceway (AIR)

Adelaide International Raceway (AIR) was built in 1972, and has a run a number of events including Drag Racing, Nascar, Touring Cars and Drift cars.

 

Adelaide International Raceway is located on Port Wakefield Road at Virginia, a small town just north of Adelaide, South Australia, and is round the corner from Speedway City

 

•             Alcohol Free Venue (Not Permitted Onsite)
•             No Camping
•             Food & Water is allowed into the venue
•             Esky & portable chairs are welcomed
•             Venue Curfew 11:00pm

Race Track

 

The race track can be used in four different configurations.

 

The full circuit is 2.41 km, the short circuit is 1.77 km, the Speedway Super Bowl is 0.8 km and the drag strip is 0.25-mile (0.40 km) long.

 

The track is dominated by its 920 meter long main straight which is also the drag strip and the front straight of the Super Bowl.

Bob Jane Corporate Box

 

AIR have recently upgraded the Bob Jane Corporate Box.

 

It is available for meetings, conferences, luncheons or just after work drinks.

 

 

 

Training Room

 

Our Training Room is also available for hire for use on race days or for Corporate functions.
